Obstetrics Care

Service We Provided:

​

  • We find you a doctor and book your initial appointment prior to your arrival

  • Your hospital will be less than 30 minutes drive from your accommodations. 

  • We transport you to your initial appointment. Weekly appointments can be attended via Uber or we can drive you.

  • We assist you in applying for new born's Canadian Birth Certificate, Passport and Nigerian Travel Document

What to keep in mind:

​

  • Ideally you should plan to arrive 40-80 days prior to your expected due date (EDD). 

  • The husband is not required to stay for the entire duration, however he will be required after the birth to sign travel document application forms.

  • We advise that you bring along any medical test results you might have from Nigeria. This will help the doctor in providing you the right care and will eliminate redundant testing.

  • You pay the doctor and hospital direct in Canadian Dollars.

Approximate Costs:

  • The cost of a "normal" delivery ranges from USD$4,000.00 to USD$8,000.00*

  • The cost of a " complicated" delivery, Cesarean delivery or extended hospital can range from USD$8,000.00-USD$16,000.00*

  • *Any additional tests for mother and/or the baby are extra.

Service We Provided:

What to keep in mind:

  • We book your fully furnished apartment in advance of your arrival.

  • Your apartment will be conveniently located close to a shopping mall, grocery store, dining and all other amenities. 

  • Depending on the number of guests expected, we can book 2, 3, or 4 bedroom apartments with washrooms, kitchen, laundry, wifi and other amenities. 

  • We pick you up from the airport and drive you to your apartment.

  • We give a brief and in-depth tour of the city 

  • Information on the local infrastructure and transport

  • We can arrange weekly, biweekly, or monthly house cleaning. Please let us know if you require this service. 

  • We can stock your kitchen with basic to traditional foodstuff prior to your arrival. Please let us know if you require this service. 

  • Minimum rental period is 30 days however shorter periods can be arranged. 

  • Any damage(s) to the apartment will be settled prior to departure.

  • Feel free to notify us of any special requests you might have.

Approximate Costs:

  • 2 bedroom with 1 washroom and amenities from USD$2,400.00 to USD$3,200.00 per month

  • 2 bedroom with 2 washroom  and amenities from USD$3,500.00 to USD$4,400.00 per month

  • 3 bedroom with 2 washroom and amenities from USD$3,500.00 to USD$5,200.00 per month

  • 4 bedroom with 3 washroom and amenities from USD$5,200.00 to USD$7,500.00 per month

  • Executive Style Accommodations such as Penthouses and Mansions are available upon request. 

  • All units are fully furnished with wifi and other amenities. Ready for you to move in.

Service We Provided:

What to keep in mind:

  • We can recommend good places to shop for various items such as: Traditional Foodstuff, Baby Items, Leisure Shopping, Bulk Buying (Costco) and etc.

  • We can accompany you on shopping trips. 

  • We can shop on your behalf

  • Your doctor will give you a list of things to buy and bring along when going into labour. Such as: Diapers, Wipes, Car Seat, and etc

  • There is a 13% VAT  on all items except for baby essentials. VAT is non-refundable.

Approximate Costs:

  • Basic foodstuff are reasonably priced. 

  • Hospital lists will range from USD$400.00 to USD$800.00 depending on the brands you opt for.

  • Dining recommendations and reservations

  • Personal shopping and gift sourcing

  • Car rental service can be arranged for holders of international driver's license. 

  • We want you to feel right at home, feel free to ask us for anything.

Step #1

Share your travel preference:

Complete an online application, which will help us plan a trip tailored exactly to what you want.

Step #2

Agree on details:

We will find you a doctor, book your first appointment, book your accommodations, and prepare any other special requests you have made.

Step #3

Make Payment:

We accept payment by international wire transfer or you can pay us locally in Nigeria via transfer to FirstBank Nigeria. Banking details will be provided along with invoice.

Step #4

Travel & Enjoy:

We will pick you up from Toronto Pearson International Airport, drive you to your pre-booked accommodations. We will help you settle in with a quick tour of the city, your neighbourhood, your doctor's office, your hospital and other places of interest. 

​

Step #5

Documentation:

After you have given birth, we will help you apply for Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport, and Nigerian Travel Document (Passport, Visa, or Emergency Travel Certificate) 

​

Step #6

Departure:

Once you have all your documents, you and your newborn baby are free to travel back to Nigeria. We will drive you to the airport and help you check in your luggages.
